What are cabinet stiles?
Cabinet stiles are the vertical pieces of wood that form the part of the cabinet structure. Two stiles are combined with a rail to create a cabinet frame. Stiles may also be referred to the vertical piece of wood that’s placed in the opening of the cabinet as well.
A center stile is commonly used to support the weight of the frame so that it becomes more durable. Otherwise, the cabinet may need frequent repairs or replacements. It’s also great for the hinges as they have to do less work each time.
